Due to the special nature of polymer industrial floor, the construction process is different from that of ordinary floor glue. Here is a detailed introduction:
Material cutting and pre-laying
① Determine the laying position of the roll material according to the customer's requirements for floor laying and the actual situation on site. Cut the roll material according to the measurement data, or cut it according to the design plan.
② Cut the roll material according to the design plan for laying, and use a marker to mark along the edge of the roll material to prevent the roll material from shifting during laying. The roll material and the roll material are overlapped and laid with an overlapping width of about 3cm.
Scraping glue
① First, lift one end of the pre-laid roll material in an asymmetrical manner and turn it to the other end.
Note: Pay attention to balance when lifting and pulling, and do not tilt; the roll material should have a certain amplitude at the folding point to prevent the roll material from having creases; Check whether there are impurities, sand particles, etc. on the ground and the back of the roll material after lifting. If there are impurities, sand particles, etc., they need to be cleaned in time, otherwise the presence of sand particles, debris, etc. will cause the surface to be protruding and uneven after paving.
② Calculate the amount of glue to be prepared according to the area of the pre-scraped glue lifted, and then weigh it according to the ratio of the polyurethane two-component floor glue (A:B=5:1).
Note: The amount of polyurethane two-component glue is about 250g/m; please read the glue instructions carefully before use; do not prepare too much glue to prevent the glue from curing and affecting the construction; the ratio must be strict, otherwise the glue may not be firmly attached.
③ Use a manual mixer to stir the weighed glue for 2~3
④ Use a scraper (A2 type scraper is recommended) to evenly spread the glue on the floor.
Note: When applying glue, be sure to evenly apply it to the floor to be laid, and do not leave dead corners or uneven glue areas that are not applied with glue; uneven scraping of glue will cause uneven surface and obvious scratch marks after the roll is laid.
⑤ After scraping the glue, touch the glue with your fingers. If there is a wire drawing phenomenon, it is the best time to lay the roll.
Note: Too long a time will cause the glue to solidify and result in a loose bond.

Laying
① Push the lifted roll carefully along the drawn reference line and lay it in place. Note: After laying, prevent the roll from shifting or misaligning, and ensure that the roll overlaps at the joints to facilitate seam cutting:
② After the roll is pasted, first use a cork block to push the floor surface to level it and squeeze out the air, and use a cork block to push from the middle of the material to both ends and sides to deflate. Then use a 50 kg or 70 kg floor roller to roll the floor evenly to remove all bubbles.
Note: Do not roll the roll 10 cm above the overlap to ensure seam cutting operation; the roll covering the wall and corners should be fully pressed by hand; the glue on the surface of the roll should be wiped off in time.
③Seam cutting: After pushing out the bubbles with cork, immediately use the seam cutting tool (manual push knife, guide push knife, etc.) to cut from the middle of the material superposition position to ensure that there is no gap between the edges of the two rolls.
Note: The splicing and trimming should be done in time before the glue hardens, otherwise the edges will not be firmly pasted and will curl up; it is best to cut it off with one knife.
④ Then use cork to compact the seam and stick it tightly, and then use a 50Kg or 70Kg rolling wheel to push the roll to make the pasted roll flatter. It should be rolled back and forth every 15 minutes within one and a half hours. If it is found that there is a partial curling edge or the skirt cannot be glued, use a hot air gun to deal with it. If the local situation is serious, heavy objects can be used to press for a long time.
Slotting
① Slotting must be done after the glue is completely cured. Use a special slotter to slot along the joint. In order to make the welding firm, the slot should not be through the bottom. The recommended slotting depth is 2/3 of the floor thickness.
② At the end where the seam opener cannot open, please use a manual seam opener to open the seam with the same depth and width.
③ Before welding, remove the dust and debris left in the groove.
Welding (cold welding and hot welding)
- Cold welding method:
Polymer industrial coils can use caulking agent welding, which is also called cold welding (two-component)
① Slotting: Manual or mechanical grooving can be used, and the welding groove is 2-3 mm wide with the seam as the center.
②Paste masking tape along both sides of the groove.
③Mix the caulking agent, mix the A and B group caulking agents in proportion for minutes, and stir them thoroughly.
④Pour into a special glue bucket and use a silicone gun to inject the caulking agent into the groove.
⑤Use a special caulking knife to scrape the seam mouth, wait for the caulking agent to solidify, and then tear off the masking tape on both sides.
- Hot welding method:
①You can choose a manual welding gun or automatic welding equipment for welding.
②The humidity of the welding gun should be set at about 350 degrees.
③Use an appropriate welding speed (to ensure that the welding rod is melted) to squeeze the welding rod into the opened groove at a uniform speed.
④When the welding rod is half cooled, use a welding rod leveler or a crescent cutter to level the welding rod above the floor
⑥When the welding rod is completely cooled, use a welding rod leveler or a crescent cutter to cut off the remaining protrusions of the welding rod.
Cleaning
①Avoid sharp objects from scratching the floor during use
②Clean up hard sand and other debris that can easily damage the floor in a timely manner
③Avoid performing other construction work directly on the floor
④Avoid dragging equipment, wooden pallets and other materials directly on the floor
