Rubber Flooring
Duracryl's rubber flooring is bio-based and contains recycled materials. Duracryl's "Ndurance" flooring is a cast flooring (i.e. there is no material loss and no seams). These floors are ideal for schools, offices and medical buildings.
Advantages
Sustainability: The rubber flooring produced in our workshops is produced in a sustainable way using recycled materials. Choosing this flooring shows that you are committed to the environment.
Safety: Rubber floorings have a high slip resistance and are safer than many other types of flooring. This makes them ideal for use in areas with a higher risk of slips/falls, such as: gymnasiums, locker rooms, corridors and kitchens.
Noise Reduction: Rubber floorings have noise reduction properties, which helps reduce noise pollution in high traffic areas. Suitable for apartments, offices and public spaces where quietness is important.
Maintenance: Rubber flooring requires little maintenance, is stain-resistant and easy to clean.
Disadvantages
One disadvantage of rubber flooring is that it is difficult to repair once it is damaged. If the damage is severe, it may mean replacing a larger area of flooring.

Vinyl Flooring
Vinyl flooring is made of PVC. It is a synthetic material used for a variety of purposes. Below, we explain the advantages and disadvantages of these floorings.
Advantages
Waterproof: Vinyl floorings are waterproof and are ideal for wet rooms.
Easy to install: Floorings can usually be laid directly on top of existing floors. This saves money and time in laying new flooring.
Comfort: Floorings are soft and flexible, making them very comfortable. This makes the floorings ideal for areas where people stand for long periods of time.
Disadvantages
Not environmentally friendly: Vinyl floorings are made of PVC, which is not biodegradable and also brings harmful chemicals during the manufacturing process.
Harmful gases: Harmful gases may be released when installing the floorings, which are not good for health. Therefore, make sure that the room has adequate ventilation.
Limited lifespan: Floorings have a limited lifespan and may become damaged, expand, and shrink when exposed to sunlight.
Certified floorings
Duracryl offers rubber floorings with various certificates. The "Ndurance" floorings come with a Red List Free label. This certificate means that the building materials used in its production are not classified as harmful to humans or the environment.
In addition, the floorings are LEED certified, which is one of the most widely used rating systems for green buildings. The project earned points by meeting values related to carbon, energy, water, waste, transport, materials, health and indoor environmental quality.
Finally, the floor is BREAAM certified, a certificate for sustainable built environments.
