There are so many types of PVC floor glue, how should we choose?

When some owners are decorating PVC floorings in their own business premises, they often use the flooring glue and auxiliary materials they prepared in advance, and then ask the flooring glue installation master to lay them. Therefore, they often encounter some owners who buy the wrong auxiliary materials, which leads to some unnecessary troubles, especially the choice of flooring glue.

To secure vinyl flooring to the ground, it requires a specific type of glue. First, the floor should be pre-treated to ensure it's smooth and level before considering the most suitable glue. PVC flooring vendors typically include a matching glue. Common glues used for PVC flooring installation include latex glue, all-purpose glue, double-sided tape, and specialized glue for PVC flooring. Let's analyze the advantages and disadvantages of each type of glue.

1. Latex Glue: Latex glue is a traditional glue that can be used to stick cement and vinyl flooring. However, it takes a long time to apply because it does not dry easily. However, the effect after application is good and it has been tested and considered safe.

2. All-purpose Glue: All-purpose glue can also stick to PVC flooring, but it sets very quickly, so it requires a high level of skill from the workers who use it. Once misaligned, it is difficult to make corrections later, which often leads to very troublesome consequences.

3. Double-sided adhesive tape is typically used for attaching sports flooring or temporary venue flooring, often serving as an auxiliary fixation mechanism.

4. PVC Flooring Glue: Compared to other glues, PVC flooring glue is more suitable for PVC flooring installation. Its high initial adhesion prevents the floor from shifting during initial installation. After curing, it can withstand the movement and compression of hard objects such as indoor steering wheels, significantly extending the service life of the PVC floor.

Having said all this, I believe that users can choose the right flooring glue based on their specific construction needs. If you need to install a large area of PVC vinyl flooring and require high-quality construction, it is recommended to choose PVC flooring glue. This ensures a fast installation time, reduces any later problems, and provides guaranteed environmental performance, especially for kindergartens, schools, and sports venues.
