What Kind of Floor Can Be Laid with PVC Plastic Floor
1. First of all, ordinary cement concrete foundation can be laid with PVC floor without self-leveling construction. Both pvc floor rolles and pvc flooring sheets can be laid, but the foundation must be: no sanding, no hollowing, no cracking, good ground strength, solid and firm; ground humidity requirements: less than 4.5%; 2mm error within 2 meters; no grease, paint, coating, glue, chemical solution and colored pigment on the ground. If the above requirements are not met, self-leveling must be done.
2. PVC floor can also be laid directly on the surface of solid wood floor. Due to the poor stability of solid wood floor, it is recommended to use white glue and wood powder to repair the floor joints and floor surface. After the PVC floor is laid, there will be obvious joint marks on the floor surface. Note: Self-leveling construction cannot be performed on the surface of wooden floor. If you want to do self-leveling, you must first remove the wooden floor.
3. PVC floor can also be laid directly on the vitrified tile foundation, but after the construction is completed, obvious vitrified floor joint marks can be seen on the floor surface. If you mind the marks, you can also use putty to repair the gaps and polish it flat before laying the PVC floor, which will have a better effect.
4. Epoxy floors cannot be directly self-leveled (if self-leveling is to be carried out, there will be stratification problems). You can directly carry out PVC floor construction. Before construction, the floor surface must be roughened and degreased (referring to the floor with grease on the surface), and then the PVC floor can be laid.
5. The steel plate surface cannot be self-leveled. It is OK to lay the PVC floor directly. Note that the welds and joints of the steel plate must be repaired and polished with putty before the PVC floor can be laid. However, the surface of the laid floor is not flat. For steel treasures with protruding patterns on the surface, the steel plate surface must be repaired and leveled with putty before laying. Ordinary putty has poor adhesion and cannot be repaired, otherwise it will be layered, affecting the laying quality.
