Common Cleaning Methods for PVC Flooring

1. Daily cleaning

--Dry mopping cleaning

Use dry or wet microfiber mops, yarn and other tools to remove dust and dirt from the floor. This method is suitable for daily cleaning of light dirt and can keep the floor clean and tidy.

--Vacuum cleaning

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and loose dirt from the PVC flooring. A vacuum cleaner is a convenient tool for removing dust from the surface of PVC floors. Especially in areas where operation is restricted, this cleaning method can be used instead of mopping.

--Slightly wet mop cleaning

Slightly wet the mop (you can use water or detergent) and then mop the PVC flooring. Note that no water should accumulate on the PVC floor, and the pvc flooring must be completely dry within 15 to 20 seconds after wiping. This method is simple and convenient and suitable for daily cleaning of most PVC floors.

2. Stain Removal

--For light dirt, use a wet mop or a slightly damp mop to clean.

--For stubborn stains, use a diluted neutral detergent to spray directly on the stain, then use a white or red nylon cleaning pad to brush until the stain is removed, and finally wipe it clean with clean water. You can also use a special PVC flooring cleaner to provide better protection for the flooring.

--For local oil stains: pour the original solution of the water-based degreaser directly on the towel and wipe it.

--For large-area oil stains: dilute the degreaser in a certain proportion and clean it with a floor scrubber. When dealing with oil stains, it should be timely to prevent the oil stains from penetrating into the floor and causing stains that are difficult to clean.

--For black offset printing, use spray cleaning maintenance wax with a high-speed polishing machine for polishing.

--For black offset printing that has been there for a long time, you can pour a strong black offset print remover directly on the towel and wipe it.

--For glue or chewing gum, use a professional strong glue remover to pour it directly on the towel and wipe it off.

3. Deep Cleaning and Maintenance

--Deep Cleaning

Use deep cleaning treatment to remove stubborn stains. Use PVC floor scrubbers to clean and grinders to polish to restore the original gloss of the floor. This method is suitable for floors that are severely dirty or have lost their gloss.

--Waxing and Maintenance

Wax the PVC flooring regularly to increase its gloss and stain resistance.

Choose the right wax and follow the instructions. At the same time, clean the corners and gaps of the floor regularly to avoid dust accumulation.

4. Precautions:

--Various dirt on the ground should be removed in time to avoid dirt accumulation and scratches on the floor.

--It is absolutely forbidden to soak the PVC flooring in open water. Long-term soaking in water will seriously affect the service life of the floor. Use a water suction machine to suck up the sewage in time during the cleaning process.

--For places with more traffic and greater wear, the maintenance cycle should be shortened and the number of waxing times of high-strength surface wax should be increased.

--It is absolutely forbidden to use hard and rough cleaning tools (such as steel wool, scouring pads, etc.) to prevent sharp objects from colliding with PVC vinyl flooring. Place foot pads at the entrances of public places with high traffic to prevent dirt and sand from staining and scratching the PVC flooring.

In summary, there are many ways to clean PVC floors, and you can choose the appropriate cleaning method according to the actual situation. At the same time, pay attention to daily care and maintenance to extend the service life of the PVC flooring and maintain its beauty.
