Explanation of The Wear Resistance of PVC Flooring Rolls
When discussing the wear resistance of PVC flooring, consumers are often particularly concerned because this feature is directly related to the service life of the floor. Today, we will focus on the PVC floor roll series and deeply analyze the wear resistance performance of three types of PVC flooring rolls: sport flooring, commercial composite heteregeneous PVC flooring and homogeneous PVC flooring.

Sport flooring is specially designed for high-intensity sports environments. Its thickness and wear resistance are the key to measuring quality. Generally speaking, the thickness of sports flooring is between 3.5mm and 12mm. Different thicknesses meet the needs of different sports, such as basketball, badminton, etc. Thicker flooring provides better cushioning and shock absorption effects to protect athletes from injury. In terms of wear resistance, high-quality sport flooring uses highly wear-resistant materials, which can keep the surface flat, extend the service life, and provide athletes with a stable and safe sports environment.

Commercial composite heteregeneous PVC flooring
Commercial composite heteregeneous vinyl flooring usually has a regular thickness of 1.6mm to 2.0mm. It is made of multiple layers of materials with different functions, and the surface is covered with a wear-resistant and UV-treated protective layer, which makes its wear resistance particularly outstanding. Under normal use conditions, the service life of commercial composite vinyl flooring can be up to about ten years. This type of flooring is widely used in kindergartens, schools, office buildings, supermarkets and medical institutions due to its durability and practicality.
Homogeneous vinyl PVC flooring, commonly known as full-body flooring, has a wear-resistant layer extending from the surface of the floor to the entire thickness, so it has excellent wear resistance. The service life of this type of floor is usually more than 20 years, and it is easy to maintain on a daily basis without waxing. Homogeneous vinyl PVC flooring is widely used in hospitals, factory workshops, laboratories, large supermarkets and other places due to its excellent wear resistance and durability.
Regarding the question of which type of PVC floor is more wear-resistant, in fact, all three types of products perform well, but they vary depending on the application scenario. In general, the wear resistance of homogeneousvinyl PVC flooring is the most outstanding, followed by commercial composite vinyl heteregeneous flooring, while the sports flooring with foam bottom is relatively inferior in wear resistance. However, wear resistance is not the only criterion for measuring the quality of PVC flooring. Choosing the right floor to meet the needs of specific scenarios is the key.
