Commercial vinyl tile flooring is a durable flooring product that is made from a combination of natural and synthetic polymer materials. It can be found in most commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, and hotel lobbies.
The main difference between commercial tile flooring and residential flooring is the density of the flooring. Commercial flooring requires a harder material, while residential flooring gives a more comfortable feel.
Materials needed to clean commercial vinyl tile flooring:
●Broom
●Microfiber mop
●Soft microfiber towel
●Detergent
●Floor wax
●Tile cleaner
●Apple cider vinegar
●Baking soda

Commercial vinyl tile floor cleaning process
1. Wipe up any visible spills as soon as they occur. Mopping the floor should be done daily with clean water.
2. Vacuum and then dry mop the floor to remove surface dirt, loose debris, dust, and hair.
3. Use a wet mop to clean the floor. Make sure to pay special attention to corners, baseboards, and under furniture.
4. Apple cider vinegar is your best friend when it comes to cleaning commercial vinyl flooring. This product can be found in most stores and is the perfect strong cleaner that will not damage the floor. It helps remove dirt and grime without leaving behind soap or wax buildup. Mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with one gallon of hot water. If you want to disinfect while cleaning, use white vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar.
5. If the floor is particularly dirty, add a few drops of detergent. Mop the floor with this soap mixture.
6. Add vinegar to the water and mop the floor again.
7. Stubborn stains can be removed using WD-40 or jojoba oil.
8. Make sure the floor is dry before opening the area again. You can use a fan to speed up this process.
9. Seal the floor with floor wax.
Important Tips
●Always sweep the floor before mopping.
●If the floor is stain-free, use plain warm water.
●To remove stubborn grease, use a few drops of dish soap to remove the grease.
●Do not use any products that contain ammonia. Instead, use a mild soap solution.
●Apple cider vinegar is great for removing dirt and will not damage the floor.
●Stubborn stains and ground-in dirt can be removed using baking soda.
●Ink can be removed using an alcohol solution. Alcohol solvents can remove stains. Use a soft-bristle brush to avoid damaging the floor. ●Use WD-40 to remove scratches caused by heavy furniture and high traffic. This will restore the shine.
●Do not use too much water. The floor should be damp, not wet. Although vinyl is water resistant, water can seep between the seams of the boards and cause irreversible damage.
●Clean the outer edges of the stain first and work toward the center.
●Be sure to rinse the floor after cleaning and then let it air dry.
●If the floor is marked with no wax, follow the instructions.
