PVC Resilient Vinyl Flooring Installation Requirements

PVC resilient vinyl flooring is a new type of floor decoration material. Its installation needs to follow certain standard requirements to ensure the installation quality and use effect. The following are some basic requirements for PVC Vinyl flooring installation:

1. Base treatment: The base floor needs to be treated before installation. Make sure that the base floor is flat, dry, crack-free, and hollow. For uneven floors, grinding or filling is required.

2. Installation environment: High temperature, humidity or low temperature environment should be avoided during installation. The ground temperature should be between 18-24℃ and the relative humidity should be between 40-60%.

3. Installation direction: The installation direction of PVC flooring should be consistent with the long side direction of the room to reduce the joint gap of the floor.

4. Joint gap: The joint gap between the floors should be kept between 2-3mm, and the gap should be straight and uniform, without any height difference.
5. Use of glue: Special PVC floor glue should be used during paving. The glue should be applied evenly without missing or thick coating.
6. Paving acceptance: After paving, acceptance should be carried out to check whether the floor is tightly spliced, whether the surface is flat, and whether there are hollows.

The paving of PVC floors needs to be carried out strictly in accordance with standard requirements to ensure the quality of paving and the use effect. Before paving, it is recommended to consult a professional paving company or construction personnel to obtain more detailed paving requirements and suggestions.
