Daily cleaning and maintenance of PVC flooring
1. Use a clean wet mop to clean the PVC floor. For severely contaminated areas, detergent can be used. For general stains, a wet mop can easily clean them. And for stubborn stains, using a suitable detergent can effectively remove them. However, be careful to choose a neutral detergent and avoid using strong acid or alkaline detergents to avoid damaging the UV layer on the PVC floor surface.
2. Perform regular thorough cleaning, waxing and maintenance to reduce wear on the floor surface and extend its service life.
Avoid soaking for a long time
It is forbidden to soak the PVC floor in open water. Although some PVC floors use waterproof glue to block water sources (such as floor drains, water rooms, etc.), soaking in water for a long time will seriously affect the service life of the floor. Use a water suction machine to suck up the sewage in time during the cleaning process.
Avoid sharp objects and high-temperature items
1. Avoid using hard and rough cleaning tools (such as steel wool, scouring pads, etc.) to prevent sharp objects from hitting the PVC floor.
2. Avoid direct contact of plastic PVC floors with heat sources, and do not place high-temperature objects above 60°C on the PVC floor. If discarded cigarette butts are not completely extinguished, they will leave burn marks on the PVC floor.
Precautions when moving furniture and equipment
When moving furniture and equipment, add cushioning pads on the transport route and do not drag them directly on the PVC floor. Place cushioning pads between the feet of furniture and equipment and the PVC floor, with the size slightly larger than the base size.
