Two popular types of LVT: glue down and self adhesive as different in installation way.

LVT flooring has certain requirements for the ground, air temperature and humidity, and the construction directly affects the effect after the paving is completed. 1. Basic requirements for LVT flooring installation:

① The height difference within the 2m range of the flatness of the base layer does not exceed 2mm;

② The compressive strength of concrete or cement mortar is not less than C20 (20Mpa), and the curing period is greater than 28 days; the surface hardness is greater than 1.2Mpa;

③ The moisture content of the base layer (LVT vinyl floor) does not exceed 4%.

④ The leveling layer should be firmly combined with the next layer, and there should be no defects such as hollowing, cracking, sanding, and honeycombs;

⑤ The ambient temperature during construction is preferably 10℃~30℃, and the air humidity is 35%~75%, avoiding cross-construction;

⑥ The most suitable ambient temperature is 15℃~25℃, and the air humidity is 45%~60%;

2. Base treatment method for luxury vinyl flooring installation:

① Use a grinding machine to grind the ground as a whole, remove the isolation material, and use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust on the ground.

② Check the flatness of the base layer. A 2-meter inspection ruler with a height difference of 2mm is a qualified base layer. If it exceeds the height difference and needs to be leveled again, cement-based self-leveling materials are generally used for leveling. Meishengyaheng M525/M530 cement-based self-leveling can meet the requirements of base leveling and LVT floor paving.

③ Self-leveling dry and solid completion Before paving LVT floor, the self-leveling surface must be polished to remove the floating slurry on the self-leveling surface to expose a dense and smooth surface.
