I. Floor detection

Use a thermometer and hygrometer to detect temperature and humidity. The indoor temperature and surface temperature should be 15℃. Construction should not be carried out below 5℃ and above 30℃. The relative air humidity suitable for construction should be between 20%-75%.
Use a moisture content tester to detect the moisture content of the base layer. The moisture content of the base layer should be less than 3%.
The strength of the base layer should not be lower than the requirement of concrete strength C-20, otherwise a suitable self-leveling should be used to enhance the strength.
The test result of the hardness tester should be that the surface hardness of the base layer is not less than 1.2 MPa.
For the construction of PVC floor materials, the unevenness of the base layer should be less than 2 mm in height within a 2-meter ruler, otherwise a suitable self-leveling should be used for leveling.

2. Floor pretreatment

Use a floor grinder with a power of more than 1000 watts and appropriate grinding discs to grind the floor as a whole, remove paint, glue and other residues, and remove raised and loose plots and hollow plots.
Use an industrial vacuum cleaner with a power of not less than 2000 watts to vacuum and clean the floor.
For cracks on the floor, stainless steel reinforcements and quartz sand on the surface of polyurethane waterproof adhesive can be used for repair.
3. Self-leveling construction-priming
Absorbent base layers such as concrete and cement mortar leveling layers should first be diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio with a multi-purpose interface treatment agent for sealing and priming.
For non-absorbent base layers such as tiles, terrazzo, marble, etc., it is recommended to use a dense interface treatment agent for priming.
If the moisture content of the base layer is too high (≥3%) and construction is required immediately, epoxy interface treatment agent can be used for priming, but the premise is that the moisture content of the base layer should not be greater than 8%.
The construction of the interface treatment agent should be uniform without obvious accumulation of liquid. After the surface of the interface treatment agent is air-dried, the next step of self-leveling construction can be carried out.
4. Self-leveling construction-mixing
Pour a bag of self-leveling into a mixing bucket filled with clean water according to the specified water-cement ratio, and stir while pouring.
To ensure that the self-leveling is mixed evenly, a high-power, low-speed electric drill with a special stirrer must be used for mixing.
Stir until there is a uniform slurry without lumps, let it stand for about 3 minutes, and then stir it briefly again.
The amount of water added should be strictly in accordance with the water-cement ratio (please refer to the corresponding self-leveling manual). Too little water will affect fluidity. Too much water will reduce the strength after curing.
5. Self-leveling construction-laying
Pour the stirred self-leveling slurry on the floor to be constructed. It will flow and level the ground by itself. If the designed thickness is ≤ mm, it is necessary to scrape it slightly with the help of a special tooth scraper.
Afterwards, the construction workers should wear special spiked shoes, enter the construction ground, and use a special self-leveling degassing roller to gently roll on the self-leveling surface to release the air mixed in the mixing, so as to avoid bubbles, rough surfaces and interface height differences.
Please close the site immediately after the construction is completed. No walking is allowed within 5 hours. Avoid heavy objects from hitting within 10 hours. PVC flooring can be laid after 24 hours.
In winter construction, the floor should be laid 48 hours after the self-leveling construction.
If the self-leveling needs to be finely polished, it should be done 12 hours after the self-leveling construction.
VI. Floor laying - pre-laying and cutting
Whether it is a coil or a block, it should be placed on site for more than 24 hours to restore the material memory and the temperature is consistent with the construction site.
Use a special trimmer to cut and clean the rough edges of the coil.
When laying blocks, the two pieces of material should be close together and there should be no seams.
When laying the roll material, the overlap of the two pieces of material should be cut in an overlapping manner, generally requiring an overlap of 3 cm. Be careful to keep it cut with one knife.
VII. Floor laying - pasting
Choose the corresponding glue and scraper suitable for PVC flooring.
When laying the roll material, roll up one end of the roll material. First clean the floor and the back of the roll material, and then scrape the glue on the floor.
When laying the block material, please turn the block material from the middle to both sides, and also clean the ground and the back of the floor before applying glue and pasting.
Different adhesives have different requirements during construction. Please refer to the corresponding product manual for specific construction.
VIII. Floor laying - exhaust, rolling
After the floor is pasted, first use a cork block to push the floor surface to level it and squeeze out the air.
Then use a 50 or 75 kg steel roller to evenly roll the floor and promptly trim the warping of the joints.
Excess glue on the floor surface should be wiped off in time.
After 24 hours, groove and weld again.
IX. Flooring installation - groove
Grooving must be done after the glue is completely cured. Use a special groover to groove along the joint. In order to make the welding firm, the groove should not be through the bottom. The recommended groove depth is 2/3 of the floor thickness.
At the end where the groover cannot cut, please use a manual groover to make grooves with the same depth and width.
Before welding, remove the dust and debris remaining in the groove.
X. Flooring installation - weld
You can choose to weld with a manual welding gun or automatic welding equipment.
The temperature of the welding gun should be set at about 350 degrees.
At an appropriate welding speed (to ensure that the welding rod is melted), squeeze the welding rod into the opened groove at a uniform speed.
When the welding rod is half cooled, use a welding rod leveler or a crescent cutter to roughly cut off the part of the welding rod that is higher than the floor plane.
When the welding rod is completely cooled, use the welding rod leveler or crescent cutter to cut off the remaining protrusions of the welding rod.
XI. Cleaning and maintenance of the floor
PVC series floors are designed for indoor places and are not suitable for laying in outdoor places.
Please use the corresponding cleaning agent for regular cleaning and maintenance according to the method recommended by the manufacturer.
Avoid pouring high-concentration solvents such as toluene and banana water and strong acid and strong alkali solutions on the floor surface, and avoid using inappropriate tools and sharp scrapers to damage the floor surface.
